Orhan Bey, determined to end the dual leadership in Kayı, finds himself tested by both his father and his brother. His greatest support is Nilüfer Hatun; however, their journey through the forest is cut short by an ambush. Kan Turalı and Abdurrahman arrive just in time and change the course of events.

Wanting to resolve the crisis that has trapped the beylik, Orhan Bey goes to meet Temurtaş even if it means opposing his own brother and promises to stop Alaeddin and Şahinşah.

Meanwhile, Flavius, burning with revenge, sets a new plan into motion in Söğüt and once again comes face to face with Fatma Hatun. Although he wants to strike, he hesitates for fear of harming her.

Temurtaş launches a brutal massacre in Yarhisar, shaking the entire Kayı tribe. Malhun Hatun warns Alaeddin that while the enemy waits for a chance to attack, a conflict between brothers will destroy the tribe from within.

Amidst all these crises, the tension between Orhan and Alaeddin escalates; when Orhan refuses the order to go to Karacahisar, the two brothers end up fighting fist-to-fist in the middle of the tribe. Following this, Alaeddin decides to exile Orhan. The balance of power in Kayı shifts completely.
