After spending eight years in a German prison for stabbing two thugs who attacked his pregnant girlfriend, Ali learns on the day of his release that his child is still alive. Now, his only goal is to find his daughter and make up for the years they have lost.

Following her older sister’s death, Zeynep takes in her newborn niece, names her Ege, and makes the baby the center of her life. With her mother dead and her father possibly never leaving prison, Zeynep embraces her niece as if she were her own child.

When Zeynep learns that Ali has come to İzmir to take his daughter, she initially tries to kidnap the child, but Ali refuses to let her succeed.
