As part of its 3rd anniversary celebration, OGM Universe, the distribution arm of OGM Pictures, welcomed press from around the world to a press conference held in honour of its new series, "Reborn" (Çarpıntı). In attendance at the iconic Majestic hotel in Cannes on Oct 14 were Kerem Bürsin and Lizge Cömert, the beloved stars of the series, who shared their insights on the series and their characters.
Reborn, praised for its raw and authentic storytelling that powerfully stirs emotion, follows the journey of Aslı Güneş (brilliantly portrayed by Lizge Cömert), a young woman who has spent most of her life constrained by a fragile heart. After years of yearning to live like everyone else, Aslı finally gets a second chance when a donor heart becomes available. But there’s a twist — the heart once belonged to Melike Alkan, the heiress of one of Istanbul’s most powerful families.
Drawn into the Alkan world of wealth, grief, and buried secrets, Aslı becomes both a daughter to a grieving mother and the forbidden love of a restless heir. But while she embraces this new life, her own mother and a dangerous lover scheme to exploit her miracle.
Torn between two families, two identities, and one borrowed heart, Aslı must discover who she truly is before love, betrayal, and destiny consume her.
While “Reborn” has only just begun its journey on screen, its relatable appeal has already generated major buzz in international markets.

“At OGM Pictures, we really like to tell stories with real emotions because we believe that emotions travel all around the world,” said leading Turkish producing powerhouse Onur Güvenatam, in a panel hosted by Episode Magazine’s Oben Budak.
“With Turkish dramas, what we do well is we go for that universal touch, and that’s why it resonates so well,“ added Bürsin, who plays Aras in the series.
The day concluded on a high note as Kerem Bürsin and Lizge Cömert charmed everyone with their adorable banter at an exclusive gathering hosted by OGM Universe.
