When historians wrote about chemistry, they must have been referring to what we witness each week on screen, watching Akın Akınözü and Serra Arıtürk bring their characters to life in Dynasty of Love (Veliaht).
“We didn’t really try hard to create the chemistry from point zero. The first time we did a chemistry read, we didn’t really know each other, and even then, we had the same kind of chemistry,” said Serra at a “Dynasty of Love” special press conference hosted by Global Agency at the iconic Majestic hotel in Cannes.
Akın backed Serra up, stating, “The first time I rehearsed with her in the auditions, I felt it. I loved it, I wanted to discover more.”

Dynasty of Love centers on Zülfikar Karslı, an aging tycoon facing growing threats to his legacy as his reign over Istanbul’s grand terminal bus station nears its end. With an election looming and rivals closing in, he’s forced into a corner — and makes a shocking decision: recruiting Timur, a street-smart mechanic, to pose as his son. The twist? He already has a real one — the true heir to his empire (!)
To keep up appearances, Timur moves into the Karslı family mansion, where drama naturally ensues because really, who is this imposter and who gave him the right to take what isn’t rightfully his?!
Amid the turmoil, a forbidden romance ignites between Timur and Reyhan — the wife of the REAL son *coughs*.
As secrets unravel and power shifts within the mansion, the line between loyalty and ambition blurs. Distrust brews, alliances crumble, and the truth becomes a ticking time bomb — leaving everyone’s fate hanging in the balance.
A gripping family drama that weaves passion, betrayal, and revenge into a story of power and forbidden desire, Dynasty of Love (Veliaht) is undeniably the talk of the season and rightfully so.
