The list of shows set to officially premiere this summer keeps getting bigger. ATV is taking a different approach this summer season, premiering two dramas, one of which is entitled Kalp Yarası.
Now officially in production, Kalp Yarası is based on an original story by Tomris Giritlioğlu, the creative behind Asi, one of Turkey's biggest exports to date.
Kalp Yarası, which is currently shooting in Antakya-Hatay (the meeting point of civilizations with its rich history and unique culture), stars Gökhan Alkan, Yağmur Tanrısevsin, Merve Çağıran, Toprak Can Adıgüzel, Şenay Gürler, Mahir Günşiray, Meltem Gülenç, Rıza Akın, Nail Kırmızıgül, Yonca Şahinbaş, İnanç Konukçu, Burçin Abdullah, Naz Sayıner, Melih Çardak, Zehra Yılmaz, and Kemal Burak Alper.
Described as "a heartwarming love story," the series will revolve around the story of Ferit (Gökhan Alkan) and Ayşe (Yağmur Tanrısevsin), who fight to preserve their immaculate life-changing love story amid endless conflict between two of Antakya's long-established families. Ferit (Gökhan Alkan) and Nilgün (Merve Çağıran) make plans to get married with the support of their families. When his horse gets sick, Ömer is forced to return to the farm early and upon his arrival, he sees Nilgün, his fiancée being intimate with Ömer (Toprak Can Adıgüzel). Subsequent events then lead to him making a "proposal" to Ayşe (Yağmur Tanrısevsin).
