atv has announced one of its most ambitious productions for the 2025-26 season, "Aynadaki Yabancı," a brand new series led by the slogan "The mind forgets, the heart never forgets." The series, produced by MF Yapım, will follow the compelling story of a mother, reborn through cosmetic surgery, as she embarks on a powerful journey of self-discovery and an unyielding battle for her child.
Aynadaki Yabancı cast features Onur Tuna, Simay Barlas, Caner Topçu, Asuman Dabak, Kerem Arslanoğlu, Nazlı Senem Ünal, Emre Taşkıran, Ayten Soykök, and Sara Yılmaz. It is written by Pelin Gülcan, Lara Bulut Tecim, Batuhan Özbay, and Berşan Tan, and directed by Eda Teksöz.
The series will center on the life of Azra, which begins like a fairy tale, quickly turns into a nightmare. Although she lives a seemingly perfect life from the outside as a bride of the Karaaslan family, dark secrets hide behind this magnificence.
Azra, who has to pay a great price while trying to escape with her daughter, finds only one way out to reunite with her: to change her face and return to that house as someone else. On this journey, she meets successful plastic surgeon Barış Saygıner and rewrites not only her face but also her destiny on the operating table. However, the shadows of the past and an impossible love will be the greatest test ahead of Azra.
Aynadaki Yabancı will premiere this fall on atv.
