Kadir Doğulu To Star In "Aşkın Tarifi" for Kanal D!

The summer rom-com season is almost upon us! Kanal D is the first to serve up some major casting news, with the network announcing today (March 12) that fan-favorite actor, Kadir Doğulu, will be starring as the lead in their forthcoming series, "Aşkın Tarifi" (Recipe For Love).

Doğulu is set to star as "Fırat" in the  NTC Medya production, which is slated to air sometime this summer. "Aşkın Tarifi" is set to be directed by Deniz Koloş, with  Doruk Erengül and Leyla Oter writing.

On accepting to star in the series, Doğulu stated: "When I first read the script, I was very impressed by the story of Firat. I am happy to be collaborating with Kanal D and NTC Medya on such a beautiful project. I'm looking forward to the starting filming."

"The chef of a humble kebab restaurant Fırat’s (Kadir Doğulu) life changes drastically because of the coaching given by Doctor Love (Alper Saldıran) on the TV. He wants to bring him down a notch. This furious journey takes him to a nice French restaurant… As an ex-chef devoted to French cuisine Fırat re-practices with his secret passion and meets love again, with the owner of this restaurant Naz Soyluer (Serra Arıtürk). Chef Fırat who can create the great mixtures with the Oriental & Western cuisine essences will soon understand that there is no “Recipe of Love” in his cookbook. Can Fırat larn Doctor Love a “love lesson” or will he be hooked by love on his way? Can he find the recipe for love or is there really recipe of love?"
