ISTANBUL, September 15, 2025 – On the heels of the phenomenal success of Kuma (The Other Wife), GoQuest Media has greenlit its next premium Turkish production: Arafta, with the acclaimed production house Rains Pictures.
Arafta brings together two of the strongest creative forces - GoQuest Media, the mind behind Kuma and Rains Pictures, the creators of Rüzgarlı Tepe (Winds of Love) and Kan Çiçekleri (Vendetta), to deliver one of the most captivating Turkish dramas of the year. At the heart of this vengeful love story is a romantic generational saga, where passion, revenge, and family drama collide, crafting an unforgettable narrative.
The word Arafta is derived from the Turkish term Araf, which symbolizes a dramatic crossroads, where the characters are forced to choose between love and vengeance, loyalty and betrayal, destiny and desire.
The series stars İlsu Demirci as Mercan, a young woman trapped between fate and survival, alongside Ateş, played by Emin Günenç, whose raw intensity and depth promise to electrify audiences. Together, their turbulent journey will hold viewers captive in this storm of passion, betrayal, and redemption.
